The technical expertise that is used to manufacture the Toolox grades enhance the steel with unique properties which differ considerably from traditional tool steel grades. Toolox has also proved beyond doubt to possess excellent properties which are beneficial in engineering steel applications, therefore confirming its status as the premium quality multi-purpose steel.
The Tool Steel Technology Group (TTG) has been established pertaining to give education and technical support to Toolox users on its properties and benefits, utilising the new possibilities in die/mould design and manufacturing. Support is also given in the different application areas where Toolox grades are used such as;
- Plastic moulding
- Hot work
- Cold work
- Engineering.
